For over 20 years NCAP has advocated for the public's right to know about hazards of pesticides and promoted alternatives to their use. We have published many articles and factsheets in our quarterly Journal of Pesticide Reform, as well as special reports. These materials are nationally recognized as a source of understandable, well-documented information about pesticides. NCAP's web site provides access to over 150 detailed fact sheets, reports, and other educational materials free-of-charge. These can be found on our publications page as well as on pages featuring our other programs. "Until two weeks ago, I was just a stay-at-home Mom. Now I'm a self-appointed citizen watchdog flaming public sentiment in hopes of reforming pest management practices in my community. Thanks for your web site and for all you do for the cause." NCAP maintains a premier library with over 16,000 documents about pesticide hazards and alternatives. The library catalog, a database with detailed keywords, provides access to our collection and enables us to answer a wide variety of pesticide-related questions. Another valuable resource is NCAP's dedicated staff, several of whom have worked here over 10 years! Experience and collective memory help us develop a strategy for your situation or make referrals. NCAP responds to inquiries from individuals, media, agencies, and other groups. We provide people with the necessary information and ideas to educate others about pesticide issues and to advocate for effective alternatives in their own lives and in their communities. "I cannot thank you enough for forwarding the information on retail sales of pesticides. How in the world did you ever find that information? You're a terrific researcher. Thanks." If we mail out materials or if we need to research a question, then we do charge a nominal amount to help cover costs. These information service fees are described on the publications page. Visit our other program pages for links and publications related to these special areas:
