Break the Billion Fundraiser
Our health and communities are worth protecting from harm. A healthy climate, clean air, water, and soil are incalculable in their value to all of us. According to the Environmental Protection Agency more than a BILLION POUNDS of pesticides are used annually in the United States. It's a big problem that needs a big solution. Help us make a difference!
Our Healthy Food & Farms Program offers workshops for growers and crop consultants on viable alternatives to pesticides, including events such as our upcoming Farming with Beneficial Insects & Pollinators Field Day.
A donation of $30 helps us reach one farmer with information on alternatives to pesticides at an upcoming workshop. Your donation helps to build the organic farming movement.
The Healthy People & Communities Program works to protect children where they live, learn, and play. In order to perform their best, students need a healthy school environment indoors and out.
A donation of $40 will support our work to pass the first legislation in WA State to protect children in schools from pesticide exposure. Your donation will help protect thousands of students in WA.

The NCAP Healthy Wildlife and Water Program continues to be instrumental in the protection of pollinators and Salmon. NCAP recently negotiated a settlement agreement with the EPA that restores reasonable no-spray buffer zones to protect salmon from five broad-spectrum, commonly used neurotoxic insecticides.
A donation of $50 will help NCAP continue to monitor EPA actions and advocate for pesticide policies to reduce harm to salmon. Your donation will help protect thousands of Northwest salmon.
Pollinators are becoming a household word and more people are now educated about the risks of neonicotinoids. NCAP works to reduce demand for neonic-treated plants, assist in supporting the development of alternatives options for nurseries, and support municipal and institutional efforts to reduce neonic use.
