Portland, Oregon: Pesticide Free Parks

Pesticide Free Parks home

The City of Portland has established a Pesticide-free Parks Program with three neighborhood parks designated as pesticide-free. As a result of the hard work of NCAP and volunteers in maintaining the current pesticide-free parks, Portland Parks Commissioner Dan Saltzman recently announced that the program will be expanded to included more parks.

Volunteer!

Help us keep these parks pesticide-free. Volunteers are needed to replace the use of pesticides with people power by weeding in the parks.

Lair Hill, Arbor Lodge and Sewallcrest Parks are Portland's first Pesticide-Free Parks! The program depends on the volunteer support of people like you. Please join us at a Pesticide-Free work party!

(N Bryant & Greeley, 2 blocks south of Lombard St. between Greeley & Delaware)
