Resources for Parks Managers and Landscapers
NCAP has published a series of reports highlighting effective, non-herbicidal strategies used by city parks staff in the Northwest to control weeds in specific areas. NCAP interviewed 20 parks staff in eight cities throughout the Northwest (Eugene, Portland, Bend, Boise, San Francisco, Seattle, Corvallis, and Davis) to document these effective strategies.

In 2008, NCAP and Oregon State University (OSU) Extension formed a group composed of five city park employees from across the region and the OSU State Coordinator of the Master Gardener Program to create an online network for landscape professionals to effectively share successful IPM techniques with peers.
