Pesticide Maker Doesn't Like What the EPA Has to Say About Their Product
Syngenta is not happy with the review done by EPA of their product atrazine. Big surprise. Syngenta went so far as to "call the review 'redundant' and say studies that conclude the pesticide is harmful are 'bogus.' The company says the new review is nothing more than 'an unprecedented war on agriculture by anti-pesticide activists.' "

Atrazine has been used on agricultural crops in the US for 50 years. EPA has decided to review the chemical and it is expected to complete the review in 2011.
