We give our best to long-time NCAP staff member, Aimee Code, as she begins her new position with the Xerces Society.
Aimee Code receiving the "Recognition from Chair Award" from Lane County Commissioner and Board Chair, Pete Sorenson for her work on the last resort policy.
Aimee has been a leader at NCAP for the last 13 years. At the helm of our work to protect endangered salmon and steelhead from pesticides, she worked closely with partners at EarthJustice to win several large legal battles. She was also hugely instrumental in NCAP's policy work, helping NCAP and allied organizations to establish Oregon's Pesticide Use Reporting System and Oregon's school IPM law.
One of her early successes here at NCAP was securing a "last resort policy" that drastically reduced road-side spraying in Lane County, Oregon.
