Show Love for Animals this Valentine's Day!
When you donate $10 to protect our animal loved ones against pesticides, we will send a Valentine’s Day card to a special someone for you. For each $10 donation, you may choose one of two images and add a personal message to the card.
IMPORTANT: After donating on this page, you will be asked to fill out a form to let us know who the card is for and the message we should include. Or make it a gift for yourself, and we'll send you a card!
The more valentines you send, the more you help us fight to reduce the use of pesticides. Make a donation by the end of the day on Tuesday, February 7, 2023 in order to have a card either mailed (we will mail it for you!) or sent electronically. Donations made after February 7 will only have the electronic card option to send.
Valentine’s Day is not only about our human loved ones. Let’s show our love for the environment and our non-human companions in our lives this Valentine's Day! So how does less pesticide use help our non-human friends? For individual pet owners, if your animals spend time in your yard or garden, chemical pesticides that are sold in stores can harm them. For example, cats and dogs sometimes eat grass that may have been sprayed, potentially causing nausea, vomiting, or even trouble breathing. According to the Humane Society, before being used in your gardens, these same chemicals are being tested on dogs (beagles!).
Your gift will help keep these chemicals away from your yards and from all your loved ones.
All of us at NCAP wish you and your loved ones a happy Valentine’s Day!
