NCAP is inviting small and medium-scale retail and wholesale nursery owners and their staff located in King, Pierce, Snohomish and Kitsap Counties (WA) to attend a FREE bilingual (English/Spanish) online Zoom workshop on Tuesday, November 22nd from 12:00p-1:30pm Pacific time. The workshop presentation, by Michael Laurie and Diane Emerson from Garden Green, will focus on alternative ways to deal with common insect and animal pest issues. We will provide a space for growers to share their pest management experiences and ask questions of one another and of workshop hosts. All workshop participants will be entered into a raffle for an NCAP beanie hat or t-shirt, two winners will be selected. 

El Centro Noroeste para las Alternativas a los Pesticidas (NCAP) invita a trabajadores de viveros de pequeña y mediana escala, en los condados de King, Pierce, Snohomish y Kitsap (WA) a un taller virtual bilingüe (inglés y español) y GRATUITO. Éste se llevará a cabo a través de Zoom el 22 de Noviembre, entre 12:00 y 1:30pm PST. La presentación del taller, por Michael Laurie y Diane Emerson de Garden Green, se enfocará en vías alternativas para tratar con pestes de insectos y animales comunes. Proveeremos un espacio para que los cultivadores compartan sus experiencias con manejo de pestes y para que hagan preguntas entre ellos y con los presentadores. Todos los participantes entrarán en una rifa para ganar un gorro o camiseta de NCAP. Al final se escogerá a dos ganadores.
