This upcoming 201 training builds upon the foundational 101 session which provided an overview of the Wild Crop Harvest Certification (available to watch here). The 201 training will continue conversation on the essential tools and practices needed to implement this certification for the sustainable collection of wild crops, while ensuring they meet organic standards. Topics will include an in-depth look at the Organic Systems Plan, as well as pre- and post-certification requirements such as harvest and sales record keeping.

This training is designed to encourage collaboration and knowledge exchange among agency staff, with the goal of supporting the adoption of organic wild crop harvesting practices within your jurisdiction.

We believe this session will be particularly beneficial for those involved in land management and conservation, as it will equip you with the tools necessary to support sustainable practices and contribute to the preservation of our natural ecosystems.
